I dedicate my speech and debate career to the late Professor Kenneth Pottle who inspired me to compete as a third grader with a stutter .
MISSION
I am committed to continuing to promote the importance of effective communication and respectful discussions on significant issues and the exchange of ideas. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with students who have not had the opportunity to engage in this enriching activity.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, I utilized my skills to educate the public about the science behind vaccines and mRNA technology and the dangers of misinformation. My engaging and easy-to-understand speeches were employed at teaching hospitals, where they were well-received by nurses, medical students, and residents.

Example service activities include judging a speech or debate round or coaching a practice for younger competitors.
“These students have demonstrated their strong commitment to using their speech and debate skills to help their peers, community, and this activity,” said National Speech & Debate Association Director J.
