Who I Am

Growing up as a child of Southeast Asian immigrants with severe food allergies and a stuttering problem, I faced challenges that shaped my character and deepen my understanding of societal disparities, fostering a strong interest in the humanities and sociology.

Through the powerful combination of meditation and refining my public speaking skills through Speech and Debate, I overcame my stuttering and gained the unwavering confidence to become a passionate advocate for some of the world’s most pressing issues.

Determined to make a difference, I founded Kids2kidz, a non-profit dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children and volunteer in food allergy research.  My dedication and hard work in ice skating earned me national and international recognition and taught me perseverance and resilience.

I’m eager to bring my unique background, experiences, and passion to college and continue making positive impacts on the lives of others.
